Here I am with my friend and William. It didn't rain any of the 4 days in mid September which is rare for Oregon. We had fun and Taylor did the face painting that you see. This is a picture taken at the outdoor dance floor.

What's up with the Pier Family
Sorry we haven't posted for awhile. Kelli is doing very well in school. We are reading the Wind and the Willows together and she is also reading many fairy related books like into the Labyrinth. Recently though, reading has decreased as dad bought them a PS3. William wants to play and Kelli likes to play. They have the Wally, Cars and Lego Indiana Jones games.
William loves trains, planes and automobiles. He likes to take a hot wheels car with him wherever he goes. He also loves visiting the hot wheels web site- though we may not enjoy it so much because he needs help and often changes his mind on a game 30 seconds after the game has started and wants a different game. We wish the Acceleracers would be able to make more DVD's. He is talking more each day and still has a soft spot in each of our hearts even though he seems to hit and get into more and more things. He often raids the treasure chest at work for a glider which once put together is quickly torn apart. He seems to think it is a game.
Kelli likes to play fashion designer. She will hopefully get her room all to herself by December. Free of dad's work desk and paperwork. She is learning many things at school. We went to High School Musical on the opening weekend. She is busy making friends and wanting to be included.
Tom and I are busy with work and kids. By June of 2009, hopefully we will be completed on the office remodel and that will allow us to have a little more free time.

Will, you ride a tired horse
The Moo train
William sat in the caboose shoe and Kelli rode in thre front cow. We don't have a good photo of Kelli in the train due to her wanting to get shopping. Mom was a little late getting off work and the anticipation of going to the festival was enough to put her over the edge. We had a long talk later about being thankful for what you have.

Catching up with life
Sorry it's been a while since we've posted. After the day off of school, Kelli came back from school the next day with a bad cold and cough. Needless to say, the virus made it's way through the family. We're all better now.
Kelli is busy learning her multiplication tables. It seems rather boring to her. Hopefully it will start to sink in for her soon.
William is wild about cars. I don't like going to the local drug store because he knows there's a toy car display near the entrance. He's almost unrestrainable when we get in the door. Knowing their marketing power, I can't go to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription without passing by the display. Maybe it's time to change where I get my prescriptions filled.
I'll work with Kelli to get her posting again soon. Next week we're going to Circus Ole sans William. It should be fun.

Here's a much better picture of me. It's a little bit older taken in January. I have on my older glasses . The one on the park slide has my new glasses. I got my new glasses because Mom let William into my room and he broke my spare frames while she was doing the laundry.
I have my hair straightened in this picture. Today I didn't do much to my hair- as there was no school today, President's day. We appreciate the fact that presidents don't want us to go to school. When are the other 41 presidents' birthdays?
Here's one of me going down the slide. This isn't the best picture, but it's one of me today. I liked going tothe park. Mom made me go to a Mexican restuartant afterwards. The only good thing was that I also got to rent a DVD.
I'll post a better picture of me. Mom needs to schedule a haircut for me soon.
William insisted that he be given a chance to drive the car after our visit to the park. He wouldn't allow mom to strap him into his car seat, so she gave into a little "driving" time.
He liked the park and went down many of the slides, swings, played with 2 dogs and Mom just had to make sure he didn't try to play with the big kids - teenagers at the park. He didn't seem to fear anything except the swinging bridge.
